Horseshoe Online Casino Review: Caesars Rewards Without the Palace, and Where the Two Differ
Horseshoe Online is Caesars Entertainment's second regulated casino brand in several US states. We compared it with Caesars Palace Online on rewards, games, payments and who each one suits.
Our verdict
Horseshoe Online is a regulated real-money casino from Caesars, with Horseshoe-branded blackjack, roulette and baccarat, slots from Light & Wonder and Play'n GO, and Caesars Rewards credits on play. It is the better pick if you like a simpler lobby, while Caesars Palace remains the one with the Rewards Shop. The catches are a state-limited footprint and promotions that change by region.
Best for: US players in regulated states who want Caesars Rewards credits and Horseshoe table games
- Price
- Free to join
What we liked
- Earns Caesars Rewards credits: 1 per $5 of slot coin-in and 1 per $25 on table games
- Horseshoe-branded blackjack, roulette and baccarat give it table games the Palace lacks by name
- Payment logos include Apple Pay, Visa, Venmo, PayPal and online banking options
- Responsible gaming page lists deposit limits, cool-off periods, self-exclusion and helplines
What held it back
- Only available in regulated markets: Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia in the US
- Rewards Shop is tied to Caesars Palace, and we found no source saying Horseshoe offers it
If you already know Caesars Palace Online, Horseshoe Online will feel familiar, because both come from Caesars Entertainment and both feed the same Caesars Rewards scheme. The question is not which one is better. It is which one you will actually open more often, and the answer depends on whether you want a Rewards Shop or a plainer lobby.
A second brand, not a second company
Horseshoe's online casino arrived in Michigan in October 2024, replacing WynnBet there, and then reached Pennsylvania and West Virginia within weeks; New Jersey followed. In Pennsylvania, state rules allow a licence holder to run more than one online casino brand, which is why Caesars can field several side by side. The home page we captured lists Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia in the US, plus Alberta and Ontario.
Real-money play is restricted to those regulated markets. Outside them there is nothing for you to sign up for, so check your location first.
What Horseshoe actually puts on the table
The obvious difference is the branding of the tables. The games list carries Horseshoe Signature blackjack with a surrender option, American roulette, baccarat and a multihand blackjack with Empire poker and pairs side bets. Live dealer sits beside them: baccarat, craps and game shows such as Crazy Time and Dream Catcher.
Slots lean on big-name studios. The Huff N' More Puff page credits Light & Wonder and describes a 5-reel, 243-ways-to-win slot built on the Three Little Pigs tale.
